Big Shot Pictures · Delivery

Send us the footage. Moveshot does the rest.

Paste the link we sent you and start moving files — no account, no install, nothing to configure. Moveshot verifies every chunk as it arrives, survives a dropped connection, and puts the delivery exactly where the production needs it.

  • Resumable, parallel transfers
  • Every chunk verified on arrival
  • You never see our storage

How it works

Three steps, and none of them are setup

  1. Step 1

    Open your link

Paste it above or click it in the email. It opens straight into your delivery — no account, no password, no waiting on an invite.

  2. Step 2

    Add files and folders

Drop in as much as you like, whenever you like. Folder structure is preserved exactly, and you can keep adding while the transfer is already running.

  3. Step 3

    Finish when you are finished

Say you are done and the delivery is sealed. We route it to the destination, verify the commit, and the production team sees it land.

For vendors

Three ways to send. Same transfer underneath.

The browser, the desktop app and the extension all run the identical Moveshot transfer engine, so a delivery behaves the same whichever one you reach for — and you can start in one and finish in another.

Nothing to install

In your browser

Open the link and drag files or whole folders onto the page. The transfer runs in the tab with the same engine the apps use, so folder structure, pausing and resume all behave identically.

  • Add more files while a transfer is already running
  • Pause, close the laptop, resume where it stopped
  • Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on desktop

Best for: a handful of files, a vendor you will only work with once, a locked-down machine.

Biggest deliveries

Moveshot Desktop

A native macOS and Windows app that reads straight off your disk or mounted volume. It keeps a durable journal on the machine, so a crash, a reboot or a three-day upload is just a transfer that continues.

  • Survives restarts — progress is on disk, not in a tab
  • Bounded file handles, so a 40,000-file sequence is fine
  • Can also receive: point a link at a folder on your Mac

Best for: full episode turnovers, EXR sequences, anything measured in terabytes.

Keeps running

Browser extension

Install once and your transfer stops depending on a page staying open. Close the tab, keep working, and the extension carries the delivery to completion in the background.

  • The transfer outlives the tab that started it
  • Reopens unfinished deliveries after a browser restart
  • Chrome and Edge

Best for: long uploads on a machine where you cannot install software.

Why Moveshot

Built for deliveries that cannot quietly go wrong

Turnovers are big, the network is imperfect, and a corrupted plate discovered a week later costs a day of everyone's time. Moveshot is designed around that reality rather than the happy path.

Fast because it is parallel

Files are split into chunks and sent many at a time, with a cap on bytes in flight so the transfer fills the pipe without drowning it. One file finishes before the next starts, and spare capacity backfills from the tail of the queue — you get a steady rate instead of a sawtooth.

A dropped connection is not a restart

Progress is written down as it happens — on disk in the desktop app, in the browser's own storage on the web. Reconnect and Moveshot asks what already arrived, then sends only the gaps. Hotel Wi-Fi, a closed laptop, a reboot mid-delivery: the transfer picks up where it stopped.

Verified, not just received

Every chunk carries a SHA-256 hash that is checked on arrival. A byte that changed in transit is rejected and re-sent rather than quietly written. Nothing is acknowledged until it is provably intact.

Received and Delivered stay separate

Two different promises, never merged in the UI. Received means we hold the complete, verified files. Delivered means the destination committed them and returned a receipt. You always know which one you have.

The studio controls where it lands

A link points at a destination we chose: a NAS share, Google Cloud Storage, Google Drive, Backblaze B2, or a folder on a producer's own Mac. Routing happens on our side after the files are safely received, so a vendor never touches production storage.

A link is a credential, and it is revocable

Each delivery link carries its own token, shown once and stored only as a hash. One-shot links expire and seal when the vendor finishes; drop folders stay open until you close them. Revoke at any time and new submissions stop immediately.

For Big Shot Pictures

Every delivery, every destination, one screen

Sign in to create delivery links, choose where their files land, and follow transfers as they arrive. Vendors get a link. You get the control panel.

  • Create one-shot links that expire, or drop folders that stay open
  • Point each link at a NAS share, GCS, Drive, B2 or a folder on your own Mac
  • Send files out to vendors as well as receive them (coming)
  • Watch a delivery move from Received to Delivered, with receipts
  • Revoke a link the moment a vendor relationship changes
